An evening of eclectic contemporary folk, as multi award winner Charlie Dore, one of the UK’s most respected singer-songwriters shares songs from her latest album, Dark Matter. Charlie will be joined on-stage by Julian Littman of Steeleye Span and the evening promises a fast moving show, as the pair swap guitars, piano, mandolin, harmonium, ukulele and autoharp as well as stories and banter.

Charlie and Julian will also perform versions of songs that Charlie has written for other musicians, including George Harrison & Jimmy Nail, plus her own worldwide hit, Pilot of the Airwaves. They’ll be supported by Wiltshire’s mightiest choir, the Wiltshire Wailers, who will open the show with a set of their own.

The choir will also team up with Charlie and Julian for some rafter-raising harmonies and arrangements of their favourite songs from Charlie’s albums, as well as a brand new piece written by Charlie & Julian especially for a mixed choir.

“A gift for melody, brave, poignant, entertaining, original ” Guardian ★★★★

“…an amazingly astute, moving, intelligent and connected songwriter…a voice like Kate McGarrigle meets Dory Previn. Wonderful ”. Mike Harding
